Photoshop and Illustrator CS6 Projects

These are two pictures that I took that I put together in Photoshop. The artwork on the back is my own original work and I blended the two pictures together using the shading or dark and light which I added completely by hand in Photoshop CS6.

This is a photo that I created solely in Photoshop CC. I created everything except my picture by hand in this program as well as coming up with the concept myself.

This is a newsletter that I created using a Pages template.

During the 2016-2017 school year, I did a four-week project with Adobe Photoshop CS6. The three geometric designs that follow were created using Adobe Illustrator CS6 as well as Photoshop. After creating the design on one layer in Illustrator, I copied it to the clipboard, and then I pasted it onto a photo already placed in Photoshop. From there I used the magic wand tool to select within each section, moved the selection to a different position, clicked to the background picture layer, copied the background into the selection, and then moved the selection back to its original place in the photo. These all took about an hour or an hour and a half to finish completely.

This photo was created by using different vector layers. The background is the photo of the girl, over that I placed a galaxy image with the opacity turned way down, over that was a black vector layer that allowed me to softly bring the highlighted portions of the galaxy image into view. I added shadows to the corners of the image as well to give it some depth. This took about forty-five total minutes to produce. This was the first image that I produced with no tutorial to base the photo or process on.This is a photo that I created solely in Photoshop CC.

The following picture was a relatively simple photo to produce. I used the color range tool and selected the colors I wanted to pull from the picture. The original photo has the woman's face arrayed in rainbow colors of glitter and you can see I pulled the greens, reds, and yellows from the photo.

This is a piece I created for the 2017-2018 school-year. The picture is actually a mix of two different photos. The first is the picture of me with the chain-link fence and the second is the blurred background. To create this I had to cute out the chain-link fence and paste it on each side so it lined up with the fence on my picture. I had to have it fit on a 10x8 canvas and the picture didn't extend that far to either side. To make it seem as though the chain-link was continuous I used a masking layer and a brush with low hardness to gently shade the fence until it seemed to be one piece on both sides. Then I had to remove the areas inside of the fence with the quick-selection tool and make sure that the background was placed where I wanted it. It took me about an hour and a half total to figure out how to create the picture and edit my initial photo to my liking. I made another picture like this and it took me about 15-20 minutes to complete it the second time.
